Regulatory Compliance
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), commonly known as Directive 2002/95/EC, is a European Union directive that prohibits the use of certain hazardous materials in electrical and electronic equipment.
Lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, polybrominated diphenyl ethers, and four distinct phthalates are all prohibited under RoHS (DEHP, BBP, BBP, DIBP).
These compounds damage landfills and are dangerous to the environment. They also pose a risk to human health because to the possibility of occupational exposure during manufacture and recycling.
